Fisk Tires was an American tire company founded in 1898 by B.F. Goodrich. It was named after Harvey Firestone's uncle, Andrew Fiske. Fisk Tires was known for their high-quality and innovative tires. They were the first company to produce pneumatic tires that could withstand high speeds, and the first company to produce non-skid tires. Fisk Tires also had a strong presence in the racing community and were used by many of the top drivers of the time. However, in the 1920s, the company faced financial troubles and was eventually acquired by Goodrich. Today, the Fisk name is owned by a Dutch tire company and is used for budget-oriented tires in Europe.
